THE PERFECT SYSTEM FOR YOUR NEEDS!

Because they are easily and quickly installed, FLEXTHERM floor heating systems are very popular with professionals who install them. They are also popular with people who are looking for the ultimate comfort and performance. They do not dry the air or spread dust or germs. Obviously, since they are installed under the floor covering, they do not take up space in the room and require no maintenance once installed.

Depending on the type of project, your chosen room, the installation surface and the floor covering under which you will install the system, you will choose one of several different radiant heating products: Green Cable Surface 2W or 3W, Green Cable Mat or Green Cable Concrete. FLEXTHERM systems are designed to be used as the primary or secondary heat source for all rooms.

They can be installed on:

  • plywood
  • concrete slab
  • mortar bed
  • smooth concrete
  • concrete panels
  • existing ceramic
  • acoustic membrane
  • scratch coat (preglazed mesh)
  • and other surfaces – contact our Customer Service Department if you are planning to install a system on any other type of subfloor.

They can be installed under:

  • ceramic
  • natural stone
  • engineered wood
  • vinyl
  • floating floor
  • linoleum
  • parquet
  • carpet (without carpet padding or rubber backing)
  • and other coverings – for all coverings other than ceramic and natural stone, contact the manufacturer to ensure that its product is compatible with a floor heating system.

Floor heating systems cannot be installed under hardwood floors. Since wood is a living material that contains a great deal of moisture, it can dry out and crack due to its proximity to the heat source. Likewise, cork floors must also be avoided because cork is an insulator and would not allow you to enjoy the full benefits of your floor heating system.
